Prestigio have announced the launch of its budget-friendly tablet named as Prestigio Multi 9.7. The tablet runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system and is powered by 1GHz ARM Cortex Chip. It has a RAM of 1GB and storage capacity of 8GB. Prestigio Multi 9.7 Tablet also comes with an expandable microSD for acquiring more storage space. The tablet from Prestigio features a large 9.7-inch display, which is IPS-enabled.
Developed by Hitachi, the IPS or In-Plane Switching technology resolves the issues of small viewing angles and low quality color production. It helps the device to give high quality display and color. The touchscreens enabled with IPS neither get lighten nor show tailing when you touch them. This feature definitely gives a smudge-free look to the display screen of Prestigio Multi 9.7 Tablet.
Prestigio Multi 9.7 Tablet will hit the market of Italy by May 2012. It will be available for 199 Euros.
