Hello Thomas White :
—————————————————————-
Marketing Tip of the Day:
A good way to build your brand on the internet is by using your company name in a massive number of banner ad campaigns.
—————————————————————–

It is no secret that targeted banner advertising builds your brand and the awareness of your companies products and services to targeted potential customers.
Every online web site business needs to build brand awareness and that is why all serious online businesses have some banner ads running on the web at all times! The sheer reach that a good banner network can provide will generate a lot of steady, new exposure for your business.

But, we don’t just have a “good” banner network… We have a GREAT banner network!

Here are some reasons why:

Most Banner networks only allow one size banner. The plain old 468 by 60 pixel size that everyone has become so accustomed to seeing.

How boring!

Our network allows 4 different size banners:

468×60, 728×90, 300×250 and 120×600.

That includes the huge, top of page banners. The tall skyscraper banners that run along the side of a page. The large square box banners and, of course, the plain old-fashioned banner size.

When you order thru our system you’ll be able to use one or all of the different size banners. Also using them ALL provides a combined marketing effect that is really outstanding! Our tests have shown that some of the bigger non-standard sizes are really performing EXTREMELY well!

Next…

- You can buy impressions (pay by the # of times your banner is displayed) or clicks (pay the the # of times someone actually clicks on your banners and visits your web site).

Additionally…

Our system provides unparalleled targeting of your ads…

- Target by industry/topic (over 44 categories!)

- Target by country (over 250 to choose from!)

- Target by gender

- Target by age group

- Specify which time of day or day of the week you want your banners to appear.

- Choose banner placement on web pages – top, middle, or bottom.

- Mix and match between four different banner sizes!

- Full stats about your campaign broken down by hour, day and month.

- Extremely fast traffic delivery… even with very precise targeting! You control how fast you want your traffic to flow!

And… ALSO… if you don’t have banners created for your business, that’s no problem either because we’re offering:

- Professional banner creation for your business. Just select this additional option when ordering any package and our expert graphic designers will create professional eye-catching designed banners in each of ALL four banner sizes available for our network.

Also, we’ve put together some great banner impressions & banner click packages so that everyone can benefit right now to build brand awareness and get more targeted traffic direct to their web site!

Take action! Go here now to get started!

Happy Marketing!

    Online banking perils!

Hi everyone, a friend of mine lost a large sum of money because of online banking. His system had a virus and he used to check his account and transfer funds over the Internet. Needless to say, his account was hacked into and all the money was transferred to some account in Africa! That’s right-Africa! Now, there’s nothing he can do to trace it!

Online Banking and E-Commerce Problems with Ally Bank/Amazon

Amazon is a company that I usually consider to be excellent at customer service. However, I recently encountered a problem with Amazon when I attempted to pay for an order using my Ally bank account. Ally bank is a banking company that is run by the former GMAC or General Motors Acceptance Corporation. Ally bank was actually taken over by the government and has greatly improved their customer service for banking customers. However, when I placed my order at Amazon and had my Ally bank account debited, there was a string of problems. First, Amazon took several days to say that the debit was successful. However, they ended up pulling over $200 over what my order total was from my bank account! This caused me to overdraft my Ally bank account and Amazon canceled the original order. However, this was just the beginning.

Ally called me and notified me that Amazon had attempted to seriously overdraft my account. They had allowed the transaction and I had to pay a NSF fee. During my first several phone calls to Amazon they refused to pay the NSF fee. However, after telling them what they charged me versus my order total Amazon agreed tor refund me the NSF fees, place my order again and remove all the shipping charges. This entire process of fixing the order to debit for the correct amount, placing the order again and ensuring that everything was correct took me over a dozen phone calls as well as ten days!

Hey Ty, your friend ignored the most basic thing to do when you check funds online. Make sure the system is clean. Even if your system has a small infection such as spyware or an application with key logger characteristics, it would record your password and send it out to another source that might hack your account. Best thing to do would be to always use personal computers that are scanned from time to time.

A Tale of Paypal Go Phish

As someone who uses online payments on a regular basis, I had a Paypal account to perform transactions on various websites, as did my mother. We were both phished around the same time, but our different responses led to two very different results.

My mother and I both received e-mails (a bait of sorts) around the same time. The e-mails stated Paypal was having issues with our accounts. My mother immediately clicked the link provided in the body of the e-mail, which led her back to what appeared to be the Paypal website. She entered her account information into what seemed to be the correct area. However, the link didn’t lead to an official Paypal website. Instead, the site was a lookalike, and by entering her username and password into it, my mother opened her account up to the people who had sent her the phishing e-mail. Thankfully, Paypal noticed the phishers’ suspicious purchases and froze her account until the issue could be sorted out.

When I received the same e-mail, I immediately visited the official Paypal page, clicking on nothing in the suspicious e-mail. I saw my account had no current issues, and I made sure to send all of the information from the e-mail to Paypal so that they could crack down on the people trying to phish their customers.

In the time since, my mother has said she regrets that she believed the e-mail. It was over a month before she had access to her account, while she had to ask me to make online transactions for her until her troubles were resolved.

    Online banking pitfalls! Beware!

I installed a multimedia application the other day but had no clue as to how much trouble I would get into. My Internet bank account details were stolen by some virus within the application. The virus even sent out my passwords along with other data and the crook withdrew my money within a matter of hours. He was tracked down as there were many others like me; we got out our money back but the whole experience was nothing less than a nightmare!

  7. Peter John says:

I once checked my bank balance using a public computer. I forgot to log out and someone withdrew a large amount of money from my account. I knew nothing about the dangers of online banking till I read iYogi reviews on the dangers one faces while transacting online. I play it safe now!

  8. Trevor James says:

As my antivirus had expired, I decided to install a new one on my computer. For a few days everything went well but then one day my bank informed me that I had just withdrawn nearly half my savings from my account! I keep checking my account on my system and realized someone had gotten hold of my password and account details. It was through iYogi reviews I learnt the pitfalls of online banking.
