TechGenie Automatic updates keep showing “waiting to download” and downloading does not start

TechGenie Automatic Updates are required for keeping your PC safe, secure and healthy from different emerging malicious threats. However, sometimes TechGenie Automatic updates keep showing “waiting to download” but the downloading does not start. This can happen due to a number of reasons, including:

• Internet connection is not available.

• User is logged in from a limited account.

• Installation for one of the drivers has failed during installation.

• Securitycenter service is stopped.

In order to fix the problem, please follow the steps below:

Step 1: Check internet connection. Troubleshoot for internet connection first, if not available.

Step 2: Make sure that the account from which the user is logged in, is an Administrator account.

Step 3: Create a new user account, install TechGenie from that account and try again.

Step 4: If one of the drivers or services are not running, call our technical support team.
