Upon detecting certain security related scenarios, TechGenie Antivirus displays a warning as ‘system warning’ on your screen. This warning appears on your screen in three types of scenarios, in the order of priority.
The three types of System Warnings are:
Warning in the form of Untreated Infections appears when a user doesn’t take any action (delete threats or Quarantine threats etc.) against detected threats.
Real Time Detection
Real Time Detection warning appears when real time monitoring is turned off. Since, it is a critical security issue, so it is recommended not to disable real-time protection. If you feel it is important to disable it, you can do so, but only for the shortest time possible. If real-time protection is disabled, your PC will not be protected against malware threats.
Outdated Virus Definition
Outdated Virus Definition warning appears when TechGenie Antivirus is not updated on regular basis. This issue can occur if a user disables automatic updates. We recommend that you do not disable automatic updates. If you think it is important to disable automatic updates, you can do so, but for the shortest time possible. If TechGenie Antivirus is not updated regularly, it will not be able to protect your PC against the newly detected threats.
This is how you can differentiate between the types of System Warning messages that you may encounter on your PC. To ensure that you do not face the above issues, you need to be sure that real-time protection is turned on and your TechGenie Antivirus is regularly updated.
